Gone Camping

I will be camping (31st Oct - 6 Nov) with my mummy at my grandma's house. Don't miss me too much. I will be back soon. :)

I am 8 months old!!!

Today I turn 8 months old. :)

So what am I able to do now that I am 8 months old?
- go from sitting to crawling and crawling to sitting
- calls people "uh! uh!"
- crawl on my fours
- push things away that I do not like
- trying to stand up while crawling
- occassionally climbing up the platform
- eat everything that I can get hold of :p

I only like non-chinese food. I am starting to eat my cereals but only 1 tablespoon. I do not like porridge or anything that is bland. My favourite toys include:
- plastic bags
- flyers/brochures
- envelopes
- handphone/ phones
- camera
- remote controls
- Milk bottle caps
- books/magazines
- laptop keyboard
- tissue paper
- etc

I love my baby toys too but I prefer those that my daddy and mummy has. :)

Put 2 parents and 1 helpless baby together and this is what you will get.

This was what happened to poor me when Daddy and Mummy brought me to Vivo City Toys R Us on the 22nd Oct and they transformed me to be a pumpkin head. -_-'''.

I finally took my pneumococcal vacination on the 24th October. Doctor aunty said that I was eating too little and I need to eat more. But the food not nice how to eat? At least I am not overweight or underweight.

Mummy went to buy a slice of organic Japanese pumpkin for me and a jar of apple mango puree. I think I'm starting to love to eat only those things that mummy and daddy eats. :p

Music & Movement

I went for my first music and movement class. Apart from me, there are two other small friends that are attending together with me. So total there's 3 of us, plus our mummies. I met mummy's friend, Aunty E, and made friends with Aunty E's son, Xavier korkor.

So what did I do there? I flew, danced, tiptoed, stomped, crawl, played with egg shakers, drums, finger puppets, listened to a story and mummy sang some songs to me together with the aunties, Miss Pat and Miss Mok.

Mummy didn't bring the camera cos we were in a rush and I dun think it would be easy to take pictures as mummy had to play/sing with me in the class. There's another class next week and I hope mummy will remember how to sing the songs that was being sung.

After the class, we went shopping for my food. Mummy bought me a few jars this time. Some yummy sounding ones. Hope they tastes as good as they sound. So what do I have?

- Vegetable Turkey Dinner from Earth's Best
- Apple and Cranberry Gel from Heinz
- Tender Beef with Vegetable Mash from Heinz
- Pumpkin and Couscous from Heinz

What have I tasted?
- Banana Porridge from Heinz
- Pumpkin and Sweet Potato from Heinz
- Apple & Banana Cereal from Heinz
- Oat with Fig and Rasins from Heinz

I still don't like my cereals and porridge.

At night, I went for my 2nd wedding dinner for the month. MH korkor and S jiejie got married. I think this would be the last wedding dinner for the year. Daddy and mummy was angry with me and mummy smacked me because I didn't want to sit in my car seat. I don't like to be strapped. Someone help me?

Sick and active

I was supposed to go to the doctor aunty today to get a jab for the new-mo-cockle (pnuemococcal) vaccination. End up, instead of getting the injection *phew* I got medicines from the doctor aunty. I am sufferinghaving flu and cough. Mummy is suffering from a sick and active baby which is moi. :p

The nurse aunty weighed me and then took my temperature, and it showed that I was having a low grade fever. So no jab for me instead medicines to take home. 4 types. One light pink for flu, one dark pink for cough, one nose drop, one for fever. I think I can start a paracetamol collection.

Have to wait two weeks later then I can take the new-mo-cockle jab. Mummy is $65 poorer and I weigh 7.39kg

Music maker?

Mummy says that we will be going for some "music lessons" for FREE! She won 4 sessions from the Kampong Playhouse and I will be there to play on the 18th Oct, 25th Oct, 15th Nov, 22nd Nov. Will update more soon after the playtime.

I tried green peas today. Here's how it tastes like with cereals.


Last Friday, daddy and mummy brought me to this Korean Restaurant at East Coast Park. The place is huge and it looks like a canteen. That's what Uncle R said. We were there to celebrate Uncle D's birthday. I had fun knocking the table and playing with the papers covering the chopsticks and spoons. After dinner, mummy put me in this ride to take a picture with Adrielle Jiejie.

...taste of pumpkin, Heinz Jar Food and mango.

With the pumpkin that Grandma bought the other day, mummy made them for me and it tastes not bad. Mummy's happy.

We went to NTUC and mummy bought one jar of Heinz Banana Porridge. Its my favourite food right now. I will be so very willing to open my mouth to eat what is in the spoon. I think I am getting the hang of it though at times I would still prefer to lick them off the spoon. Mummy says its not nice to eat like that cos then I would be like a dog. I will try to open my mouth bigger.

Not sure what mummy is going to let me try next after that jar of food finishes. Will update again.

Went to grand parents' place and mummy let me try teeny weeny bit of mango. Tastes weird in the beginning but its nice. :) More please?

Oh did I tell you? I love those biscuits that grandma bought for me. Also this brown biscuit which I can hold and bite that Aunty HL gave to me. I'm a happy baby..:)

Happy Me Day!!

Its Childrens' Day today and I went to a market for the very first time. Daddy and mummy brought me to a market at Bedok and we met my grandparents there for breakfast. So many people and so many things to see. Mummy showed me two stalls that were selling eggs. ALOT of eggs. Mummy showed me what "dao geh" aka beansprouts looked like. Just too many sights and sounds for me to absorb.

Grandma tried to feed me some tau huay but I didn't like them. No taste. Grandma bought me a slice of pumpkin and Mummy is going to let me try it one day.

Today I also attended a wedding dinner. My first wedding dinner. Uncle A and Aunty L. So many of daddy and mummy's friends. Too bad Gretchen wasn't around. Else I would have someone to talk to. Mummy said that there will be another wedding dinner for me to go to at the end of the month. Will update again. :)

爸爸不在家

Daddy is away from 26th Sept to 30 Sept. Here's what I did when daddy's not at home.

26th Sept
Sent daddy to the airport together with mummy and came home to pack my bags to prepare my camping trip at my grandma's. Grandpa came to fetch us and we headed off to grandma's.

27th Sept
Mummy, gramdma and me went to Tampines for shopping. Once I reached there, I fell asleep. Grandma bought some pyjamas for my cousin korkor Caleb, a laughing giraffe, socks and a box of teething biscuits for me.

At night, alot of other people came. My other cousins and uncles and aunties. I tried bananas for the first time and I loved them so much that I ate them all up without giving mummy a hard time. More bananas please?

28th Sept
I turn 7 months old!!! Mummy brought me to church all by herself and thanks to all the korkor and jiejie, mummy didn't have to carry me all the time. :) After church, we went back to grandma's and together with my cousin korkor Caleb, grandparents and mummy, I took the bus for the very first time. So exciting to see so many people coming up this bus and so many sounds around for me to hear. We took the bus to Tampines and grandpa bought me a Ernie puppet and some pyjamas.

I have been on all the different public transport in Singapore already.;)

29th Sept
I took a picture with my cousin korkor Caleb.

Then he had to go home for the week. Mummy brought me to Bugis to meet up with some aunties and one korkor and then we headed back home. At night, my grandma came to stay with me. Here's what I did today!


30th Sept
Mummy took this picture of me today.

She wanted to bring me to T3 before picking daddy up but because I was too slow in my drinking, I missed that chance. Next time maybe. At the airport when mummy wanted to buy her lunch, there was this funny aunty who acted like she knew me wanted to carry me. But I gave her some colors to see by screaming out loud. Mummy glared at her. haha. She's a crew in a well known fast food restaurant in T1 and she looked like a China woman. Weird people around these days.

Daddy is back and we are all happy again. I think my mummy did well.;) More of such times Mummy!!!

I am 7 months old!!!

Today I turn 7 months and mummy brought me on my first bus ride today with my cousin and grandparents. More about that in another post. Here's what I can do now.

- sit on my own unsupported
- crawl forward
- say ra, ah, ba, and gibberish language that no one understands
- tried before apple, banana, avacado, potato, sweet potato, carrot, porridge, brown rice. All of which I do not like except apple and banana.

My weight taken two weeks ago is about 7.4kg.
