Number 2 has been spotted!!!

The Journey of the Mouse in the Ox year

Its my first time celebrating the chinese new year. Last year, I was still in my mummy's tummy when all these festivities were going on. After 3 days of celebration, I'm tired but have become richer ;). I heard there's a total of 15 days to this time and its only past 3 days.

初一

The day started off with daddy and mummy dressing me up nicely and we headed off to grandma's for my morning nap. After my lunch, the tedious day started. Total of 4 homes, ending off at my Porpor's. Mummy was so proud of me that I managed to eat all the food that she prepared and even though I was a little lack in naps. I was a well behaved girl.

初二

A more toned down day today but an interesting one. Daddy bought us a family outfit. The Little Miss and Mr Men t-shirts. Daddy had Mr Cool, Mummy had Little Miss Greedy, I had Little Miss Chatterbox.

Went off to granduncle's place, returned home for my nap and went to grandma's again.

初三

The most fun day of the three. Did many things and went to Botanic Gardens for the first time.

We went to meet Mummy's family, aka my porpor, kongkong, uncle and aunty, korkor Caleb, my greatgrandma at a hotel named Shangarila for lunch buffet. So much food there but I could only eat the bread sticks and bread. They had a fountain made of chocolate and a swimming pool that has a fountain.

After lunch, we headed to Botanic Gardens. Fell asleep on my way there and mummy said that I missed all the birds and fish when we arrived. Sigh. Caleb Korkor played his ball there while I sat in my pram happily.

End of the day, it was at Porpor's and we had Lou Hei. Not my first (the first was a couple of days before the new year) and I had a chance to toss using the chopsticks. :)

After these three days, I am dead beat. Time to zzzzzzzz.

I'm 11 months old

I turn 11 months today!!!

Here's what I can do.

• cruise a little
• point to objects that I want/place I want to go
• play ball on my own by throwing the ball and crawling after it
• say o-oh
• snap my fingers
• put my hand/what I am holding to my ear pretending its the telephone when you say "hello hello"
• demand for things
• "talk" alot more
• feed myself with teething biscuits
• drink from a straw

Daddy booked me a ticket to a bassinet on the aeroplane. I think we are going somewhere far away.

Happy Birthday Caleb Korkor

My cousin Caleb Korkor is turning 2 on 21st Jan 2009. We went to his birthday party today. My Kum Moh (Mummy's korkor's wife) rented a few cars and a smal water pool and some balls to put in the function room for the children who attended the party to play. I think I was the youngest there.

The place is my Kum Moh's sister's new condo. They have a nice swimming pool and I was muh more interested in the water than the toys that are in the room. There were alot of balloons and a big Thomas the Train balloon that will sing when you tap. So nice. But I don't like Thomas the train. :p

The cake was also Thomas the Train cake from Sweet Secrets. I didn't eat any food there except for the bread (my favourite) :).

Mummy didn't bring any camera so no pictures. All the pictures in my PorPor's camera. Mummy will try to "steal" them from the camera and update soon. :p

straw please

I'm officially a straw drinker now. :)

My sleep patern has gone hay-wire. I need company when sleeping. Mummy's would be best and I'll faithfully wake up between 1am to 3am until I get carried to the queen sized bed sandwiched between daddy and mummy.

Yawnz.

I want to wish everyone who is reading my blog a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Didn't do anything much to usher in the new year. Just followed Daddy and Mummy to church for the watchnight service but we left early cos had to come back to sleep. I can say that I slept through the year :p

We had some friends over for steamboat dinner. Mummy said the dinner was actually meant to welcome and bid farewell again to Lynette Jiejie and also to get together for some fellowship. It was a fun time playing with all the Jiejies and Korkor. :) Here's a group picture (without daddy)

I'm 10 Months Old

Finally a double digit to my age. Two more months and I will be 1 YEAR OLD! How time flies.

Here's what I can do/like to do:
- Stand with support
- Have a tooth
- Wave Bye Bye
- Clap my hands
- Dance
- Crawl around very quickly
- Take the remote control and point to the TV
- Mix my own bath water
- Undestand Let's go, No, Drink milk, Love love, Carry

I weigh 7.XXkg (maybe 8kg now) & measure at 76cm.
