So it was the first day of the nation wide PSLE marking day where all primary schools to facilitate and allow teachers to mark scripts of the national examination. The husband decided to take leave to spend time.
Since we missed out on the session to Kidstop on Children's day that was organized by the church, we decided to pay a visit there with the two girls.
Not exactly very big, maybe that is why they organized it in such a way that there's a maximum capacity of people that is to be within the premise in the stipulated time. Two time slots. Morning and afternoon. Being not really morning people plus staying at the other end from where the location was (I can't believe that I actually travelled/spent 3yrs in the building next to science center studying for my diploma), we decided to go for the afternoon slot which was opened from 2pm onwards. Left the home at about 1130am, journeyed to the west and arrived nearly close to noon, bought tickets and headed off to lunch before goin back again to experience science in a simple way.
Tickets cost $14 altogether ($5 for each kid, $2 for each accompanying parent). Considered cheap actually.
So after lunch at BigBox, we headed back and started exploring.
Total time spent there was about 1.5hrs. Mainly to touch and explore and experience. You do not actually learn much about science if the parent does not explain or if the child is just interested in touching and pressing without reading.
Overall experience was fun but I doubt I will be there again. Maybe in the main science centre exhibit area or even omnimax theatre.
